Demario Minter did not play a lot as a freshman and sophomore, but he came on as a junior. He finished the season with 51 tackles, 3.5 for loss, and 10 pass break ups. As a senior he had 48 tackles, 3.5 for loss to go along with two interceptions.

There isn't a physical skill Minter lacks; he's got the size, speed, and athleticism that project well at the next level. He shows the ability to cover a receiver step for step down the field, but also has the size to make plays in the running game. Perhaps the best thing Minter has going for him is that there is no glaring weakness in his ability to cover.

Minter just hasn't made enough plays on the ball as a corner in college, so it's tough to see him being a playmaker at the next level. With the way NFL receivers attack the ball in the air, he's going to have to show the same aggression and ability to get to the ball.

A slew of underclassmen declaring his dimmed Minter's draft stock a bit. He once had a shot at going early in the second, but now carries more of a third round grade. He's got the physical tools to play at the next level, but he will need to show better ball skills to live up to his potential.
